Suicide Prevention
Suicide prevention is one of the highest priorities of Foundation 2. We strive to prevent suicide through our 24 hour telephone counseling available state wide, our
Mobile Crisis Outreach program, available in Linn County, Iowa and our
support groups for
suicide survivor's and those coping with
depression or anxiety disorders.
In addition, we know that teaching the public about suicide is an important part of suicide prevention. Whenever possible, we look for ways to increase awareness of suicide as a public health issue and a preventable death.
