The winter holidays are often times of family togetherness, elevated spirits, generosity and spiritual renewal. This time of year can also be painful and lonely for our clients in crisis. If families are living with tension and disruption, mourning the loss of someone to suicide or struggling with depression and hopelessness, there is little holiday cheer.
Your generous giving can help spread your goodwill and concern to people who are in all types of crisis.
Because of your past gifts, we were able to shelter 153 adolescents last year and assist 147 families with counseling services. Our Mobile Crisis Unit was dispatched into the community 114 times, helping families, suicidal individuals and people who are homeless. Our After Hours Food Pantry assisted 1114 households and our crisis counselors answered over 16,000 calls for help. More than 30 people come to our depression and anxiety support group each month.
Please consider making a year end cash donation to Foundation 2.
We are also in need of donations of food, toiletries and gifts to brighten the holidays for our clients. Attached you will find lists of our most needed donation items.
Thank you for helping Foundation 2 to continue providing relationships of hope for those who need it.
