On Friday, May 3rd, Foundation 2 invites those who have lost a loved one to suicide to attend the Survivors of Suicide Memorial Event from 6-7 PM at Hillside Wesleyan Church. This event is open to spouses, brothers or sisters, parents, children, or friends of suicide victims. Survivors at any stage of their grieving process are welcome.

Participants are invited to join Foundation 2 after the program for a social time with cookies and lemonade.
About our speaker:
Chris Klug is a grief counselor, educator and consultant in private practice in Iowa City. He is Certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement by the Association for Death Education and Counseling. Chris worked for Iowa City Hospice for 11 years as a grief counselor and bereavement coordinator. He is a consultant to the palliative care staff at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Department of Psychiatry.
