Foundation 2 has received a grant from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation Flood Fund to assist with the increase in staffing needs for the Foundation 2 Crisis Center as our community responds to last year’s flood. As the need for our 24-hour crisis hotline services continues to increase, so does the need to let our community know about the services that Foundation 2 provides.
Along with funding for increased crisis line staffing, this grant provided funds for marketing efforts, allowing us to let flood-affected Cedar Rapids area residents know about Crisis Center services. We chose to spend part of this marketing money on promotional items from Raining Rose in Cedar Rapids. Foundation 2 now has unscented lip balm and hand sanitizers with our logo and phone number that we need to distribute to the community.
If you or your organization has suggestions for ways to distribute these materials to those who are in need of Foundation 2 services, please contact Elisabeth Kissling, Director of Development and Marketing for Foundation 2. Elisabeth can be reached at (319) 362-1170 or ekissling@foundation2.org.
Thank you to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and supporters of GCRCF for making this marketing opportunity possible!
