Foundation 2 is pleased to announce that we are one of five local agencies receiving emergency funds to assist with cuts in government money. On August 21st, 2012, United Way announced that Foundation 2 will receive $50,762 for Mobile Crisis Outreach, allowing the program to continue serving the community at full capacity.
Mobile Crisis Outreach provides in-person crisis intervention to Linn County residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, usually within one hour of the initial call for assistance. Upon arrival, the Mobil Crisis Outreach team will:
- Assess the situation
- Attempt to stabilize and diffuse the crisis
- Provide counseling as needed
- Provide referrals to other Foundation 2 or community resources
