On Tuesday, June 22nd, Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett declared July 6th to be “Foundation 2 Day” for the City of Cedar Rapids. Foundation 2 was formed on July 6, 1970, by a group of Coe College and Kennedy High School students and staff who saw a need for services for people in crisis. This declaration is part of our 40th Anniversary Celebration.
