Executive Director

Emily Blomme started with Foundation 2 in 2015.  She has worked in the human service field in Cedar Rapids since 2000.  Much of her work has been in crisis and youth services, as well as substance abuse and mental health. Emily has a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies from Colorado State University.  Over the years she has been involved in many committees and boards in the Cedar Rapids community and across the state including United Way of East Central Iowa and Family Treatment Court.  She is a graduate of the Leadership for Five Seasons class of 2015.  Emily is married and has three children. She enjoys running, cooking, and spending time outside with her family.


Operations Director

Sarah Nelson-Miller started with Foundation 2 in 2016.  She worked in the human service field in Boulder, Colorado for over 15 years prior to returning to her native roots in Iowa.  Her previous work has been in crisis services, child welfare, mental health, and criminal justice. Throughout her career, she has led community wide strategic planning, implementation of best practices and data driven decision making.  Sarah has a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies from Colorado State University. 


Quality Director
Deb began her career at Foundation 2 as a crisis line volunteer in 1976; three years later she was hired as a Counseling Supervisor and became the Crisis Center Coordinator in 1985. She held the position as Crisis Services Director from 1987 until 2008 when she moved into the role of Quality Director for all agency programs. Over the years she's been involved with a variety of community activities and has served on the boards of Linn County General Assistance, Helping Hands Ministries, and Iowans for the Prevention of Gun Violence. She has been serving as a site examiner for the American Association of Suicidology for the past 20 years, assisting with the certification of crisis lines across the country. Deb has a degree in Psychology from Mt. Mercy University. She met David Peddycoart  when he volunteered for the crisis line many years ago. They married in 1986.

Financial Director
Audrey Meyer joined Foundation 2, Inc. in 2007. Audrey brings 30 years of experience working with non-profits. Audrey serves on the Human Resource Committee and CFO committee for the Coalition for Family and Children's Services in Iowa, the CFO Peer Group of the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation Nonprofit Peer Network and serves on the board as Treasurer for Iowa Corridor USA Dance #2100 and previously a board member of the Jefferson Monroe Friends of the Library. She graduated from Mount Mercy College with a BA in Administrative Management and Accounting.

Development/Marketing Director
Elisabeth Kissling started with Foundation 2 as a Counseling Supervisor at the Crisis Center in 2001 and move to Director of Development and Marketing in 2007. Elisabeth is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Leaders in Volunteerism, the Linn County Suicide Prevention Coalition, the Sleep Out for the Homeless Steering Committee and a graduate of the Association of Fundraising Professionals/ Linn County Nonprofit Resource Center's Development Institute. Elisabeth has a B.A. in both music and psychology from Coe College and an M.A. in Education from the University of Iowa.  In addition to working for Foundation 2 she is a professional pianist. Elisabeth is a member of the Leadership for Five Seasons class of 2017.
