National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Answers One Millionth Call
The Lifeline was launched on January 1, 2005. Calls come from people in crisis seeking someone to listen, concerned friends and family wondering how to help a loved one, young people, older adults, and returning veterans.
Calls are toll-free and the counseling services are confidential. The Lifeline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Foundation 2 is pleased to be one of the 133 centers across the Nation who answer calls from the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. We are the only center in Iowa that is a part of this network. Your support of Foundation 2 helps to make this possible.
