Full-Time Mobile Crisis Outreach Case Manager

Description: A full time case manager is needed to provide community based assessments & crisis counseling for clients, and make appropriate referrals as needed. Case manager will be working with multiple organizations and agencies to coordinate services. Individual will be responsible for  developing and maintaining working relationships with other mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement officers, school personnel, hospital personnel, and other interested parties.  Evening and weekend hours are required.

Qualifications:

·        BA/BS degree in a mental health or human service field from an accredited college with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or a Master’s degree in a mental health

·         Must possess strong communication, counseling and computer skills and must be flexible as well as have a working knowledge of local human service resources.

·         Be insurable through agency insurance policy.

·         Pass all criminal and child abuse background checks. 

·         Computer experience required.

Youth Shelter Supervisor

Description: Employment opportunity available at Foundation 2 Youth Shelter, a 17 bed facility that provides a safe environment for young people ages 11 – 17 in crisis.

Duties include providing care and supervision of youth clients living in the shelter and ensuring that all shift tasks are completed.  Additionally, Shelter Supervisors are responsible for hiring, training, supervising and evaluating the direct care staff on their team, provide back-up coverage in rotation with other youth shelter staff and complete administrative projects as needed.  Evening and weekend hours required.

Qualifications:

·         BA/BS degree in a human service field from an accredited college plus one year experience or an AA degree in a human service field and four years experience working with youth in at risks situations.

·         One year supervisory experience preferred.

·         Be insurable through agency insurance policy.

·         Pass all criminal and child abuse background checks.

Part-Time Life Skills Accountability Program Youth Specialist

Description: To assist the Life Skills Accountability Program Case Manager with implementing the life skills, restorative program for delinquent youth.  The major goal of the program is to develop creative restorative community service options and implement a skill building motivation for change curriculum.

Full-Time Youth and Family Services Program Coordinator

Description: Do you have the passion, vision and energy to lead staff and assist them as they provide counseling, child welfare emergency services, and emergency shelter programming for youth ages 11-17?  Can you create an organizational culture that promotes learning, collaboration, and responsibility?  If your answer is “yes”, Foundation 2 may have just the right job match for you.  In this position you will hire, schedule and evaluate supervisory staff and implement policies, procedures and programming.  As the leader of the program, you will energize and inspire staff and commit to maintaining the state and federal licensing that allows us to operate a trauma informed safe haven for youth in crisis.

Description: The Mobile Crisis Outreach (MCO) team provides mental health crisis services around-the-clock, 365 days a year for children, adults and families.  The MCO team is called following the initial contact with our phone crisis counselors to be dispatched to locations within Linn County for face to face crisis counseling in homes, schools and other settings throughout the community.  Day, night, evening and weekend hours.  Must include Friday or Saturday 6:00 pm – 12:00 am.

Part-Time Crisis Counselor at Crisis Center

Description: Duties include providing counseling to clients of all ages who call our crisis/suicide lines, as well as answering the 211 Information and Referral line.  Crisis Counselors will have some part-time regularly scheduled shifts in the evening and/or on weekends, as well as the opportunity to fill in extra shifts when they are available.  This is a great chance to gain experience with a wide range of concerns people face, including suicide, family conflict, economic crises and relationship struggles.

401(k) Retirement Plan

Employees decide how much to invest and where they want it invested. After one-year of service, eligible full and part time employees receive an automatic contribution by Foundation 2 that is in addition to their salary. It is not a match. No other contributions are necessary to receive this contribution.
