Shannon Costanzo-Melsha
program coordinator for the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program

My name is Shannon Costanzo-Melsha and I am the program coordinator for the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program. I have been with Foundation for the past 5 years. I started working for the agency as one of the original MCO counseling team members during the programs inception back in 2004. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Iowa School of Social Work and did my graduate work at St. Ambrose University in Criminal Justice Administration. I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the Iowa Board of Certification. One of my other jobs here at Foundation 2 is to co-facilitate our weekly Depression/Anxiety group.
As a social worker and substance abuse counselor my many years of experience in working with addiction has been invaluable in working with people in crisis situations here at F2. I truly believe that people have the capacity within themselves to change if given support and encouragement. One of my favorite quotes is "If you believe you can or can't you're right" -Henry Ford
