"Walking" Through our Limitations

I walked for 65 minutes this afternoon on a treadmill at the Y. It's not brag, even though it felt like a milestone to me, but it showed me that I can overcome and live with my limitations.

Dennis Dozier
Independent Social Worker

My name is Dennis Dozier and I am licensed as an Independent Social Worker in Iowa. I have been with Foundation 2 since 1997. I began as a volunteer at the Crisis Center answering the Crisis Line, and have held a variety of positions here at Foundation 2 since that time. Currently I am a Family/Individual Therapist based at the Crisis Center. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids in 2000 and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2005. I also am a Certified Dual Diagnosis Counselor through the Iowa Board of Certification. I am the co-facilitator of the Depression/Anxiety group.
